Drug treatment for dementia

Alzheimer-type dementia is a progressive disease. Therefore, it is considered that drug therapy can slow down the progression of symptoms, even if no change in the symptoms is noted, as compared to no drug treatment (maintenance effect). If any unusual condition persists after taking the medication, please consult your doctor.
